Sears Showcase is launching a collection of international brands in New York this fall, just in time for back to school! This is exciting news for many students and parents, because Sears, famous for its department stores that offer clothes, appliances and hardware at affordable prices. Sears will be introducing a collection of popular international apparel brands from Europe and Latin America. Most of these popular brands will be coming to the United States for the first time, so kids can go back to school with some European and Latin American flair this fall and winter season.

According to David Pastrana, President of Apparel, Sears Holdings, “We are creating an experience for our members unlike anything in the U.S. retail industry — a fashion-forward, shop-in-shop apparel collection featuring established and popular international fashion brands. Showcase at Sears gives our members access to fresh international trends, styles and fashions at an affordable price — and only found at Sears.”

Per Joelle Maher, President and Chief Member Officer for Sears, “These curated collections are a perfect complement to our existing apparel assortment and offer exposure to brands you’d otherwise have to travel internationally to try on. Not only will our members love the fashion and selection, they’ll love the unique space we’re building out in each store. It will be inviting, high energy, and staffed with knowledgeable associates dedicated to serving members who shop the Showcase.”

The initial launch will be in five New York stores this fall. The exciting Sears Showcase will feature men’s and women’s apparel, women’s shoes, intimates and handbags and children’s apparel. Sears is creating a 10,000 to 15,000 square foot boutique within the traditional apparel footprint of each store. Each boutique will be staffed by dedicated associates to help shoppers pick out what they need .

The following international brands at Sears Showcase will be introduced. Each will feature the same core product they sell in their homeland: Biography (United Kingdom/Mexico), Fiorentina (Mexico), Hawes & Curtis (United Kingdom), Ilusión (Mexico), Jack & Jones (Denmark), LMENTAL (Mexico), Mango (Spain), MaryPaz (Spain), Punt Roma (Spain), 3 Pommes (France) and Zatchels (United Kingdom). A wide range of apparel style including fast fashion, fitness, contemporary sportswear and professional looks from these international brands will be offered at prices that start from as low as $10 to $175.

Showcase at Sears will open inside three New York and two New Jersey Sears stores:

• Cross County Shopping Center (Yonkers, N.Y.)
• The Galleria at White Plains (White Plains, N.Y.)
• Green Acres Mall (Valley Stream, N.Y.)
• Newport Centre Mall (Jersey City, N.J.)
• Woodbridge Center (Woodbridge, N.J.)
