The Hyatt Regency It’s Good Not To Be Home is back, just in time for the holidays. The Hyatt Regency brand, a member of the Hyatt Gold Passport family of brands, helps guests make the most of being away. With the holidays here, many people are traveling to see family and friends. Holiday travels can be stressful due to the holiday rush, where there are tons of traffic everywhere, flights delays — or even worse — cancelations out due to weather or air traffic congestion. Many people need to travel for work. Whether it’s for business, pleasure or holiday travels, many people prefer to just stay in, especially those of us who are strict diets that we that we’ve been planning since the beginning of the New Year s (we all know how hard it is to challenge ourselves with keeping up with New Year resolutions).
Whether it’s a quick trip to visit parents or in-laws, or a fews days on the road for a business trip, or a well deserved vacation — many people are concerned about their exercise routines, diets and meal plans getting pushed off track. For those who join a gym or run around their neighborhood, suddenly there aren’t any machines or favorite running path to follow. For those trying to keep up with their diets or meal plans, it can be a challenge when their kitchen is replaced with guilty pleasure foods, such cheeseburgers, french fries, fried chicken, pizza, bacon, potato chips and nachos, ice cream, cakes and the list can go on and on. For those who are used to a good night’s sleep, it can be a challenge when in different time zones.
Well, have no fear — Hyatt Regency has something irresistible this year! Gunnar Peterson (renowned personal trainer to professional athletes, celebs and models), and Dominique Ansel (James Beard Award-winning pastry chef loved by foodies worldwide and creator of the Cronut) have collaborated with Hyatt Regency to help travelers stay in shape and eat delicious, healthy foods even during travels. Who knew that’s it can be so easy, fun and possible to combine fitness and food when traveling! Check out these fitness and fuel cards by Gunnar Peterson and Dominique Ansel below.
This fall, Hyatt Regency asked travelers for ideas on how to make their business travel experience even better as part of the brand’s It’s Good Not to Be Home campaign. Now in its second year, “It’s Good Not to Be Home” was born from a simple human truth: as much as guests like to be home, they enjoy the freedom to break from routine while traveling. Hyatt Regency took the top two crowdsourced ideas and then worked with two powerhouse duos to bring them to life. Gunnar Peterson and Dominique Ansel created an in-room food and fitness routine that’s so easy and fun to do. In addition, fashion designer Cynthia Rowley paired with tech mogul and businesswoman Randi Zuckerberg to create an on-the-go beauty bar. Recently last month, Hyatt Regency debuted these experiences at an experiential event at the brand’s Jersey City property. These innovations, dreamed up by business travelers, will be used for inspiration for future Hyatt Regency experiences and amenities. For more information, visit hyatt.com.
