According to a recent survey from Barnes & Noble, among those who shop for gifts, 38% do their shopping two weeks before the holiday, while nearly a quarter (24%) of people do their shopping the day of the holiday. Additionally, when it comes to purchasing a gift, 45% of people feel that books are the go-to gifts for the people that are closest to them. And for those that are in a relationship, nearly 3 in 4 (74%) of Americans would feel closer to their partner who picks out a book they would love.

*Survey Methodology: The Barnes & Noble Survey was conducted by Wakefield Research among 1,000 nationally representative US adults ages 18+, between December 3^rd and December 10^th, 2018, using an email invitation and an online survey. Quotas have been set to ensure reliable and accurate representation of the US adult population 18 and older.

• Thursday, Dec. 20 to Sunday, Dec. 23 : All available stores will open until midnight
• Monday, Dec. 24: Consistent with years past stores will have a “soft close” at 6pm

In-Store Pick Up.
